What is 24-hour window?

The 24-hour window is the period after a customer's last message during which a business can reply freely with any content — and those replies are free of Meta per-message fees.

Every new inbound message resets the window. Outside it, you can only reach the customer with an approved template. Fast replies and chatbots that answer inside the window are the single biggest cost saver on the API.
